-Test in Social Studies: Wednesday, December 2nd.

-Art on Friday: Please bring a pretty thick magazine or Reader's Digest by Friday.

-Some students are bringing in balloons for a science experiment on Wednesday.  We only need about 10.

*We started a new reward system in class today to encourage students to speak in French.  They get tickets that say "Bravo, j'ai participé en français".  At the end of the month, I will reward the boy and girl who had the most "Bravo" tickets.  Please talk to your kids on the importance of speaking French in class and ask them how many "Bravo" tickets they have at the end of the day or week.

*I am away at workshop tomorrow.  See you Wednesday.

Quelques personnes doivent présenter leur Montre et Raconte la semaine prochaine car on a eu beaucoup de problèmes avec l'internet.

Test en Études Sociales mercredi, le 2 décembre.

Next Friday, I need everyone to bring a magazine for Art.  I do have a few for those who forget, but not enough for the whole class.  It has to be a pretty thick magazine or a Reader's Digest will work well too.

Aujourd'hui

Nous avons entendu les présentations Montre et Raconte de Rachel, Emma, Delaney, Molly, Gavin, Julia et Jakob. Well done guys!  Nous avons aussi commencé à pratiquer deux pièces de théâtre (Le Père Noël a perdu son sac et Les lutins font la grève) pour Noël. Les élèves vont ensuite se séparer en trois groupes pour pratiquer la pièce.

The test in Social Studies has been postponed until December 2nd.  That way, the students can focus on their Montre et Raconte this week (Mon sport préféré d'hiver, d'été ou les deux).

We are working with iPads and using Apps like iMovie and Voice Plus to create an advertisement about Vitamin D.

Remembrance Day

It was a great ceremony today in the gym. Thanks.  It was greatly appreciated.
